A Taste of Cafe Tiala: Taking Coffee Time To A Whole New Level

Coffee and friends make the perfect blend.

We Filipinos are very accustomed to drinking coffee or tea to rejuvenate our cells and to relax as well. I might have the perfect place for that.

IMG_3119As we all know, there are already a lot of new cafes that opened up ’round this city and market themselves with different offers and setup, and Cafe Tiala is just one of those many cafes. Cafe Tiala opened their doors to their customers about a month ago (I think) it’s owned by Korean businessmen. They have 8 Korean-like rooms, four of which has monitors where you can enjoy PS3  and/or Wii, and if the rooms are full, they also have a separate space upstairs. The place is also a hotspot area with above average internet speed. Every 8pm is their candle time which means they will be turning off the lights at 8pm.

Like any other cafes, they not just only offer coffees, they also offer shakes, tea, yogurt, and some of our favorite Korean snacks. One of my favorite Korean snacks are teokbokki and gimbab (also known as sushi), apart from those they also have ramen with rice and chapagetti with rice. Each of their products will only cost you less than Php 200.00 plus they also have free sandwiches either you wanted it to be toasted or with jam. Not to mention, I love how they put up their menu.

Aside from the PS3, wii and free bread, they also offer free leg massage and hair iron. Wanna try to experience how it feels like to be treated like a princess and dine like the Koreans? Well, Cafe Tiala might be the right place for you. It is located in the 2nd floor of The Forum Bldg., Archbishop Reyes just beside GrandCon. For more information you can contact 260-5503.

Although we’re not drinking coffee I just wanna say this, a cup of coffee and a couple of Korean dishes shared with a friend is happiness tasted and a time well spent.
