I know it has been a long time since I have last written anything here, please forgive me for that. So, to cover for that, here’s a little treat for you.
Semestral break is fast approaching and I know that you and your clique are cooking up something for the so-called “Squad Goals”. Well, if you find this place fit for your taste, you can add this one to your list.
Danao Coco Palms has made a great deal of change since the last time I was here and that was 3 or 4 years ago. Although, I was a bit disappointed that they have removed their water sports activities, not the jet skis but the inflated water sports activities.
The place has gone from narrow to wide and with more rooms to accommodate their guests for a very reasonable price. Their space is perfect for team building and you can also play volleyball, they have provided a net for that.
Now, I know that their new amenities may have been there some time between 2012 to 2016, but, I will list them here anyway. Please find below the new amenities Danao Coco Palms offers:
I am such a fan of the beach, but somehow, swimming in an infinity pool gives me another kind of excitement. If chasing waterfalls is called “chasing waterfalls”, of course, what do you call chasing infinity pools?
Their 5ft to 6ft (I think) deep infinity pool is backed by the beautiful view of the sea and facing the little island of Camotes.
Well, a mini bar is a mini bar, right? You can order up any drinks you want and there’s Jack Daniel’s too.
Fronting their rooms are the elegant looking solar tents where you can drink and dine, and of course, it is just near the bar.
Aside from these, they still have their first or original pool, which is best for the kids and it also comes with a slide.
All these you can enjoy for only Php 250 if you go there during the weekends and you can take your time since your day accommodation is until 10pm. Plus their cottage is just Php 500 very cheap, right? And you can also borrow some utensils if you forgot to bring yours, they’ll just need your ID.
HOW TO GET THERE?
If you come from the south of Cebu, like I do, you can ride a vhire from SM City Cebu to Danao for only Php 50. Just tell the driver to drop you off at Danao Coco Palms.
Hope you guys will love it as much as I do and I think I might be starting a collection of infinity pools that I’ve been to. What do you think?
